CTI Resources

CTI Resources is a private energy technology company based in Calgary, Alberta. Its major shareholder is Capital Technologies, Inc. (“CTI”) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In partnership with Carnegie-Mellon University and other research entities, CTI has developed several leading edge technologies around which CTI Resources is creating business ventures. The first operation of CTI Resources is a processing facility in Russia where oil will be recovered from oilfield sludge and other wastes. In addition to more oil sludge projects in Russia and other regions, CTI Resources is also pursuing technology-driven ventures in oil sands, oil shale, water processing, and alternative energy that will have a positive impact on the environment. As a result of its close business relationship with CTI, Kyoto Fuels Corporation was given the opportunity to be a co-founding minority shareholder of CTI Resources. This investment further solidified the partnership between CTI and Kyoto Fuels, and has enhanced the potential for significant technology and business synergies.
