Kyoto Fuels Corporation was formed in 2003 by three experienced Albertan entrepreneurs with a vision to change the way we think about fuel. The technologically advanced 66 million litre per year biodiesel manufacturing facility is nearly complete, and expected to be commissioned by the first quarter of 2009.

Kyoto Fuels has strategic alliances with an oilseed crushing new generation cooperative, a biogas production company and petroleum oil refining technology provider. These alliances provide Kyoto Fuels with increased market penetration, feedstock procurement and access to emerging technologies.

The Kyoto Fuel's biodiesel plant is located in the County of Lethbridge, south of the City of Lethbridge off of highway 5.
